If you’ve been waiting for a new album from Tim McGraw, then you can now mark February 5, 2013 on your calendar. That’s the date Tim has announced that his next studio album will hit stores.

Titled Two Lanes of Freedom, this will be Tim’s first album for his new label, Big Machine Records. Big Machine announced their signing of the country superstar in a much-publicized ceremony this past summer.

“‘Freedom’ is a powerful word,” McGraw said in a statement on his website. “To come into a situation where there’s some weight lifted, some refreshment going on, you can feel that in the music. I think you can feel the horses gallop on this record, and where I might go and what I might do when my engines are revving.”

Fans already got a taste of new Tim McGraw music this summer, with the release of the single and music video “Truck Yeah.” Tim also played that song regularly during his record-breaking Brothers of the Sun tour with Kenny Chesney.

And to keep the music rolling and the excitement building, this week Tim and Big Machine released another new single, “One of Those Nights.”

“I feel like we really found some great songs for this record, and ‘One Of Those Nights’ perfectly sets the tone for the project,” explained McGraw on his website. “It’s about reflecting on old times with a sense of nostalgia, but it’s also about creating new memories and living in the moment and looking towards the future. I am doing that in my own life and career now, and I can’t wait for my fans to hear the single and album. It’s an unbelievably exciting time for me!”

“One of These Nights” is available now on iTunes. Tim and his wife, Faith Hill, are also set to begin a series of Las Vegas shows this December.
